Presentation Summary:

Pat will be presenting on energy performance benchmarking impacts, the city’s Power Down the Crown program, and the currently available NC C-PACE program and other clean energy financing opportunities in the community. Energy performance benchmarking is a free, proven first step to increase energy efficiency and save on operating costs in buildings. In addition, there are several different financing and rebate opportunities available in the Charlotte region for businesses and income-qualified residents to take advantage of to fund energy efficiency work in the community.

Speaker Bio:

Pat Robertson is an Energy Policy Analyst with the City of Charlotte Sustainability & Resilience team. He analyzes energy and carbon emissions data, continues municipal benchmarking efforts, and keeps track of sustainability-related policy updates. Pat has been with the City since September of 2025. Pat’s prior experience includes green building consulting, high performance building expertise, and residential energy auditing.
