Speaker Bio:

Armistead earned a degree in Mathematics and Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and spent nine years in private and business banking with Wachovia and First Citizens in North Carolina. In 1995, he transitioned into his family’s convenience store and refined fuels business, later purchasing two propane companies. Over the past 30 years, he has led acquisitions and implemented enterprise systems across accounting, CRM, and dispatch operations. He also has 11 years of experience working with HVAC and plumbing OEMs to develop dual-fuel home heating solutions. In 2022, Armistead launched a consulting practice and currently works with the Propane Education & Research Council providing training to allied trade partners.
