October Virtual Meeting

TOPIC: "Future Ready" BAS Architecture

Presented By: Ryan Staton

(Registration Link will be sent in Confirmation Email)

Presentation Summary:

Much has changed in the BAS industry over the past 30 years but one of the few things that has not is the technology behind the communication between equipment controllers.  This presentation frames a discussion around why building owners should consider this architecture to make their buildings “Future Ready”, the existing dominant technology, and the industry’s seemingly inevitable shift to IP based field controls.  You will learn about market trends driving this change, system architecture options, advantages and disadvantages of each, and challenges the industry must confront to successfully adopt and implement this next generation technology to deliver the best outcomes for building owners, managers, and occupants.
