Presentation Summary:

Taylor will introduce audience to the added quality control and performance benefits associated with commissioning. Presentation will include an overview of commissioning background, applicable requirements, team roles/responsibilities, process steps, and new trends. Presentation will connect relevant high impact project and systems examples to increase participants awareness for when they encounter commissioning.

Speaker Bio:

Taylor is a NC Professional Engineer, BCA Certified Commissioning Professional, AEE Certified Energy Auditor, and a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Project portfolio spans healthcare, higher education, federal, and municipal facilities across the southeast and internationally. Taylor is a Charlotte native. He found the industry as a summer intern with a small firm doing performance contracting commissioning and energy audits in 2008. He joined RMF Engineering in Raleigh in January 2010 and now leads RMF’s commissioning services across Western NC from the Charlotte office.
