Presentation Summary:

This presentation will discuss the Fundamentals of HVAC Engineering. While exploring the topics, equations, and performance of the typical HVAC equipment and design, attendees can expect to learn more about Affinity Laws, properties of moist air, and energy equations. This introduction will also include a high-level overview of CAE / CAD as well as heat transfer and fluid flow.

Speaker Bio:

Andy Hayes has over 15 years’ experience in various HVAC roles and industries. His career has covered a wide range of development and leadership positions in hydronic heating and cooling as well as refrigerant based air conditioning.

Andy has a strong heat transfer and fluid dynamics foundation holding a Master’s of Science in mechanical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Andy is a Sales Engineer with Hahn Mason Air Systems, Inc.
